OUR STORY

With a long lifespan, excellent cyclability, and low cost, redox flow batteries (RFBs) are an excellent option for long-duration energy storage technology with a rated power life of up to several hours as the cost of storage is decreased by the individual scaling of energy and power. Besides the established vanadium RFBs, there are a number of alternative cell chemistries, and more are being developed i.e., zinc-air, zinc-iodine, and all organic RFBs. This symposium mainly focuses on advanced materials and chemistries to support the development of RFBs.
